A lovely old farmhouse which retains much of its old charm and character whilst having been tastefully decorated and refurbished to a very high standard that offers AWARD WINNING spacious, luxury accomodation. We are situated within the tranquil hamlet of Bretton, next to the 'Barrel Inn' the highest pub and restaurant in Derbyshire about two miles from the A623. A superb setting in an elevated position overlooking the villages of Foolow and Eyam, surrounded by the most spectacular, breathtaking, panoramic views of the Derbyshire countryside. Close to some of the Peak District's best- known attractions and within a short driving distance of good dining pubs and restaurants.
Our self-contained on-suite, spacious, apartment sized rooms with beautiful far reaching views of the countryside have comfortable super-kingsized beds and have been luxuriously furnished and well equipped to a very high standard to ensure that our guests have a relaxing and comfortable stay. The breakfast menu which is predominantly organic produce offers lots of choice including tasty homemade vegetarian options. Homemade wholemeal and white bread is baked on the premises daily and we also adhere to the principles of 'PEAK DISTRICT CUISINE' and locally source the produce we use from local butchers, farmer's markets and Chatsworth House farm shop. Our fresh free range eggs are from a nearby farm. We also offer a selection of freshly brewed teas and coffees.
