Your hosts Andrew and Karen Metcalfe warmly welcome you to Bretton Cottage. A lovely old farmhouse which retains much of its old charm and character whilst having been tastefully decorated and refurbished to a very high standard that offers AWARD WINNING spacious, luxury accommodation. We are situated within the tranquil hamlet of Bretton, a superb setting in an elevated position with beautiful views in every direction. Just a short walk away there are good dining pubs and restaurants serving fine cuisine and exceptional real ales. Bretton Cottage is easily accessed and conveniently located approximately two miles from the A623. Close to some of the Peak District's best- known attractions and within a short driving distance of many other good dining pubs and restaurants. We can recommend restaurants and dining pubs in the local area and organise booking arrangements if required.
Our three self-contained en-suite, spacious, rooms with lovely views of the countryside have comfortable super/kingsized beds and have been luxuriously furnished and well equipped to a very high standard to ensure that our guests have a relaxing and comfortable stay.

The area of Bretton itself is a designated site of Special Scentific Interest by English Nature with many footpaths crossing wild flower meadows, woodland areas and moorland. However if you are not feeling too energetic after a pleasant night in a lovely country pub just relax in one of the many seated areas in our beautiful landscaped garden and take in the open panorama.
The breakfast menu which is predominantly organic produce offers lots of choice including tasty homemade vegetarian options. Homemade wholemeal and white bread is baked on the premises daily and we locally source the produce we use from local butchers, farmer's markets and Chatsworth House farm shop. Our fresh free range eggs are from a nearby farm. We also offer various preserves and a selection of freshly brewed teas and coffees.
